The Central California American Red Cross in partnership with the City of Lompoc Fire Department invites the public to the Lompoc Sound the Alarm home fire safety and smoke alarm installation event on Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm. Between 75 and 100 volunteers are needed on Saturday, March 23, 2019.
Volunteers may choose a morning or a morning/afternoon shift to be part of teams that include an installer, an educator and a recorder. Training will be provided. English and Spanish/English speakers are needed.
What about liability and insurance: while volunteering at a Sound the Alarm event , you and your team are considered Red Cross Volunteers and are covered.
